Standard EEG

When you visit the GP or Neurologist after experiencing your first seizure or seizure-like symptoms, one of the tests the doctor will order is called a standard EEG.  EEG is short for Electroencephalogram and is a measure or recording of your brain wave activity.  This is not a painful or uncomfortable procedure at all and is done on an out patient basis.
